I have extensive experience lecturing in the UK financial markets, with a teaching career spanning over 25 years. I worked as an investment analyst for Anglo American and in professional practice with KPMG in Johannesburg before moving into training. I was initially involved in training towards professional accountancy exams, specialising in company and commercial law and taxation. Since 1990, I have specialised in regulation and practice in the financial markets, and I regularly present exam-based and non-exam courses in London and in Edinburgh, where I am based. I have a degree in Classics from Oxford University and I'm a Scottish chartered accountant and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. I work with 7city on an Associate basis.
