My dual role as an instructor and Global Head of Asset Management at 7city allows me to design, lead and teach many of our marquee training programs as well as develop our business activities in the asset management sector.
I have over 20 years' experience working in asset management, capital markets and corporate finance. Before joining 7city I launched STORM Capital Partners, a market neutral hedge fund that remains an active participant in today's derivative markets.
I began my career at Chase Manhattan Bank and also worked for West LB and Credit Research and Trading before joining Credit Lyonnais (now Calyon). Before leaving to develop STORM, I was Managing Director and Head of North American Corporate Finance at Credit Lyonnais.
I also have extensive distressed, workout and reorganization experience from the distressed private desk at Credit Research and Trading (CRT) as well as the workout group at Credit Lyonnais.
I got into teaching through guest lecturing for my finance professor and discovered I really enjoyed it. It's really rewarding to see students grasp a new concept or fully understand something that they were previously unclear about.
I have a BSM from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, am a CFA charterholder and a member of CFA Institute and the New York Society of Securities Analysts.
